Policies

School policies cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference. If you want to know our policy regarding something not listed below, please contact the school office on 01704 567516. Please note that all policies are regularly updated but some may near review - it is always best to check with us if you are unsure. Policies and guidance (including from Sefton Local Authority and the Department for Education) are adopted by the Governing Body of Birkdale Primary at regular reviews.

  • Sefton Local Authority Policies and Protocol 2017 onwards The Governing Body of Birkdale Primary School ensure time is allocated for Governors to annually to review the policies and protocol found at the following link. Although many are not in use often (or in some cases relevant to our school), they represent a body of annually adopted documents and will be used and adhered to where appropriate.
