Coronavirus Update - 23/03/20

For those attending today please be aware of these key principles:

  1. If it is at all possible for children to be at home, then they should be. We are providing this service to ensure crucial staff in other settings and workplaces can keep the country running.  We know that some of our Key Worker parents are Part Time – please bear this in mind.
  2. Parents should also do everything they can to ensure children are not mixing socially in a way which can continue to spread the virus when they are not in school. They should observe the same social distancing principles as adults.
  3. I will continue to be monitoring advice from Government, assessing risks to employees and pupils, reviewing policies and procedures, considering additional safety measures, and communicating information to staff, pupils and parents as the situation develops. I will endeavour to update on any changes to routines daily.

We will be grouping the children into three groups, A,B and C.

A – youngest, B- older, C- Oldest and will be assigning a team of adults known to them today.

Collection and drop off will be at the Nursery – Group A, Main Entrance – Group B, 6J/S – Main Yard – Group C from tomorrow. Today, we will inform you of their group and will take all groups to the Main Yard at 3.15pm unless they are in After School Club.

At the moment drop off and collection for Breakfast and After School Club will remain as normal. Arrangements noted on Friday are now on hold. ONLY THE JUNIOR YARD ENTRANCE SHOULD BE USED.

Parents of all children should still check these messages when you get a text. Please limit all contact with the school during this week unless urgent. The homework situation will settle as will information regarding those families who will be requiring a Free School Meal.

All for now, take care and thank you.
