Dear Parent / Carer
We have today made every effort to contact parents whose children fall into the Key Worker categories. If you have not had this confirmed today please do not bring your child to school on Monday, 23rd March.
If you feel you do still require a place please contact school on Monday morning- please do not bring your child to school. Please understand that this is an emergency childcare provision, if you can look after your child at home, you should do so.
For those attending on Monday, it will be via the MAIN ENTRANCE in the morning. At home-time, we will bring ALL the children for collection to the main yard including Nursery children at 3.15pm unless they are attending After school Club. This may change over time.
Breakfast Club will be as normal for Monday morning only for the identified children. As work will finally be underway to install a new entrance door, Breakfast AND After School Club will transfer to a Year 1 classroom from Monday afternoon – the entrance and exit will be from the Main Entrance until this work is complete.
All attending children may wear their own clothes.
Lunchtime for all attending children will remain the same – your own packed lunch or school provision as per usual.
We will be sending/collecting information regarding which days your child will be attending as many of you have kindly said that you are a part time Key Worker and so we will collate this information next week.
Please all check the school website for more updates as time goes on – especially checking home work requirements. We have made every effort to provide materials for those not on the internet.
Children NOT attending should NOT approach school – please refer to advice regarding distancing and isolation. Please all be responsible in these difficult times.
Some schools have made provision for benefit related free school meals. Our position on this has not yet been clarified – we will send a text as soon as this is the case early next week. It is possible that packed lunches may be available to be collected from the Main Office.
All arrangements for Easter remain unclear at this stage.
I’m sure you will be aware, any return to normal school running remains unclear.
Ok, that’s some of the information I needed to get out for now. I’m sure any clarification over any other issues for all parents may be addressed next week.
It’s been a difficult week as you are aware and I can’t thank our whole community enough for the support we have received every step of the way. We will be together again. Over the coming weeks, I know we will all do our best to…BE THE BEST WE CAN BE!
Take care all
Thanks
Nick Sheeran
