Dear Parent / Carer

School is open today and tomorrow.

We await clarification of the Key Workers Group from the Cabinet Office today. When this is available we are likely to send home today a short survey to ascertain which families will be involved in the next stage.

At the present moment, it is likely that we will be remaining open for this group of children.

Although I know many of you may wish to contact us to advise us that you are already in this group (at the moment including NHS staff, police and delivery drivers, ‘vulnerable’ children including those who have a social worker and those with Education, Health and Care Plans) -  please do not contact us regarding this at the moment. All will hopefully be clear by the end of today.

Where schools are unable to provide this reduced provision, schools and local authorities will work with the Department for Education’s regional teams to ensure an alternative option is available for Key Workers.

I would like to thank all of our school staff, our cleaning teams and our teaching and support staff. We will endeavour to continue to provide an education as well as emotional support for every child in our care...always with a smile.

Finally, I would like to thank you all as parents for the support we have received this week in these difficult times.
