Fundraising
The majority of our fundraising will be through the Friends of Birkdale who have a page on our website. Here you will be able to check the dates of the next meeting and any 'Friends' news about our regular events. We would love you to volunteer! On this page, I intend to keep you up to date with news of what the money is being spent on and other aspects of funraising for other charities.
Recently, we raised £386.56 for Children in Need - November 2011 - well done to our children and staff who held cake sales for this event.
Well done to all our children and staff who helped raise £234.51 for the Poppy Appeal - A big THANK YOU to Mrs Mowatt who arranged for the sale of wristbands and poppies.
Well done to the WHOLE school for taking part in our SPONSORED SILENCE in September. Over £2000 was raised which went towards paying for an entriely new reading scheme for the school.
